2 weeks ago I put in a support ticket with my ISP regarding absurdly low speeds. Today, after 4 phone calls totally 3 hours, talking to 5 people, and being on hold for about 1 hour, I was finally informed that a "hard reset" of my modem would fix the issue.

Yup; and the reset can only be performed by someone high up the support chain

Sounds strange because you should be able to "hard reset" your modem. Anyway, glad you're over the hump.

@jezra Ah that's super weird. I remember with my ISP you could hard reset your modem by dialing automated support and pressing the right # on your phone.
