   @roka @wakarimasen @lain @shpufeff OTOH, sometimes it is annoying having to jump instances to see an entire thread and you don't always want to follow everyone involved because it will be a clusterfuck. I could see a point for it for small instances, especially if you are alone on the instance. You may want to create a bot or another account to follow the people you don't necessarily want to follow on your main and still get to see threads.

         @lain @wakarimasen @roka @shpufeff In that case, it belongs less of an issue. I know it is still an issue on GS. Not sure about mastodon. But if they use them then it would be needed for this purpose alone.

            @sim @wakarimasen @shpufeff @lain @roka It is less of an issue on Mastodon (potentially mitigated by not seeing most replies until you choose to view a conversation), but my experience using two different instances is it is still there.
