@crushv @nepfag If the CC has a gym or sports program you like, then it might be worth trying that route too. What is more manly than getting a good job and moving out to be independent and seeing if you can make it in the world?
Of course, if you plan to transition at this time then it would defeat the purpose of convincing your mother and you may as well be honest about your intentions. Maybe tell her that you won't use the family insurance for it if she is concerned about that. That maybe you plan to show her how serious you are by making it on your own, and paying for it yourself when you get good insurance to cover it.
