i've gotten to the point with birdsite that i touch it so rarely, i can tweet just about anything and have people respond
as opposed to when i was actually using it, where i tweeted all the time and rarely ever got any responses

mastodon is way better than birdsite. i miss a lot of friends there, but the community here feels more welcoming, and randos are way more...polite? accepting? something like that.
