      Yo @temporaryDouchebag but for the grace of [insert deity here] go I.

      My folks "adopted" me. The "official" channels were red tape factories. Dad got around it by buying me from a private "hospital" (a house in a neighborhood) in upstate NY. Pushed paper through (sealed adoption). the state with help of the "church".

         if you can't socialize a dog - beings that come out of the gate preternatural inclined to loving us - then you can't breed.

         if you can't RESCUE an abused dog, then you can't "contract" with any institution to foster children.

         What am I thinking!? That makes too much sense, like requiring any police and security services to take martial arts ... preferably Aikido.
