They shifted from hardware to software and services two decades ago. π
When my then-employer considered running WebSphere on an iSeries (AS/400), they were in the vast minority. Everyone else was running it on Windows or Linux on commodity rack servers, and that's what we ended up doing too.
They still do make hardware, obviously, and their boxes are pretty unique and impressive, but it's not where their main revenue is.
