Interesting how the first instance of what could be seen as implied insulting is from areoh when he implied "advocating non-violence in all cases is naive and a very entitled way to view the world" and then he went after the character of Gandhi which wasn't being discussed prior.


He may not have meant it as being personal to djsumdog but it can be viewed that way. It wasn't exactly a positive response to someone relating their personal story. Not that one even has to respond or in a positive way but I can see why it went in a negative direction after that response where hypocrisy was brought up by djsumdog. Not that I really understood what was implied with the hypocrisy remark. Context is lost on this outsider. 

I'm saying this here because I found the exchange to be interesting and feel like dumping my thoughts somewhere. Strange how a conversation can turn so bad...
