I would also add that there is nothing wrong with asking for a source. Especially if someone knows something you don't. Who has the time to research all of a search engine to find something out? Or perhaps you want to know the context that someone else is going off rather than finding a different context on a search engine? This is how you get on the same page with each other rather than doing research separately and possibly arguing over each other.
