Forcing #OpenAccess on publishers means they simply charge the authors instead of charging the readers. How do we do away with those centralised monopolistic publishing bullies, and move to a new era of scientific #publishing? I've heard of quite a few cool projects in the last few years, the most recent being this one: https://octopus-hypothesis.netlify.com/
We need more of those to be less dependent, get rid of harmful metrics, value reviews and reproducibility, increase openness and involvement. ✊ #research
