   I just read an article saying your startup programs could transfer files over plain HTTP or deprecated cyphers in the meanwhile between connecting to a login portal and connecting to their VPN, before giving solutions *for Windows and macOS*.

   I'm not saying people should hold back data that would benefit Windows and macOS users, of course not. But this lacks an analysis of *why the fuck do Windows computers have 1594 programs connecting to the Internet over plain HTTP*

      And please, when you make a tech article about Windows and macOS, it would be great to include Fedora and Ubuntu (e.g., Red Hat's systemd/pulseaudio and Canonical's snapd/Unity etc.) and to tell BSD users they could just move on before reading a whole article
