   I find it difficult to believe that the social justice types that are currently giriping about how bad and awful the world is with Trump in power simultaneously believe America is the sum of all that is good in the world and more countries should be like them.  They are basically engaged in cultural imperialism in the largest scale - they're simultaneously trying to make the whole planet adopt the "social justice" ideology.
   
   You know, when I first came to the Fediverse, I considered it a surprising breath of fresh air to talk to the actual social justice centric people who, you know care about actual social justice, discuss class and economic inequality, and have high-minded respectful discussions of different views without basically coming down to "well you're one of Them and basically also Hitler"
   
   Mastodon sure was a "gift" to the fediverse importing so many of the slacktivist bully types.

      @maiyannah Yeah, it's sad that the term "social justice" has become so abused that it is now a negative to me even though I'm actually a socialist at heart.
      
      Unfortunately with the slacktivist infection all socialist parties hereabouts seem to have gone full crazy. All socialist parties hereabouts are also not part of the government coalition and I don't think those two things are entirely unrelated. Politicians sure seem to be very slow to realize that modern social justice is basically a recipe for alienating most of your voters.
