@z428 I have to disagree here. When Windows starts to fail, most people (who don't have a friend or family member fix it for them) just sell the machine and buy a new one. MacOS, on the other hand, doesn't fail, at least not until you've owned the machine so long it's obsolete and you can afford to replace it. That's the advantage of demanding absolute totalitarian control over the hardware, OS, and app ecosystem, there's less to go wrong.@ente @aral @clacke @enkiv2 @scolobb @Purism
