Tbh, I'm probably the only one on fedi that gets 'triggered' by cw. It is an emotional thing that I don't like to be reminded even exists. But it isn't going away, and all I can ask is to have the ability to not see or use it.

I won't say that I'm "triggered" but vid related it's frustrating to have to clic to all the post if you want to read the thread.
Content warning when not used correctly creates another kind of shell to people and intensifies an echo chamber when there is one.

@mangeurdenuage It's something that has a place (for like NSFW stuff like you say for example) but it gets really overused by people. When you have to attach a whole bunch of labels to every post, you also make posting much more difficult for people with accessibility problems, who cannot type as easily, or are nervous or anxious about posting. This is why I do not believe it makes things more "accessible" like some say.
