   Ok, so do I understand correctly that Sargon got kicked off Patreon for using extreme right racist language, not on Patreon? As I understand (never really followed all those GG celebs that much) Sargon is pretty far left, not right.

      @verius Essentially he gained negative media attention for using some ... genuinely racist remarks, and patreon cut him off because they received negative press as a result; they were associated with him being his funding source and they did not want to be associated with him because of the negative media attention.  You can agree or disagree with whether that's appropriate or not, but at the end of the day it's their perogative as a company to associate or not associate with whomever they wish, I should think.
      
      That said, to touch on your other point, Sargon is just a sensationalist.  He has espoused views that would be considered far left and views that would be considered far right.  His stock and trade is preaching to the choir, and so his views convinently change to reinforce and validate the beliefs of the people paying him.  He is not a principled man.

         @maiyannah Well  read on HN (big grain of NaCl) that Patreon said they'd  only ban for bad speech on their own platform, not elsewhere. If that's true they're full of crap.
