Elly, nasty enby :heart_pan:Wanting home automation isn't inherently Capitalistic and is in fact imo an important part of having full automation. It also brings serious advantages to the disabled. I'm too tired to even leave the bed some days (thanks, thyroid), but I can at least make myself comfortable with my voice or my phone.
The real issue is that a handful of companies control it right now. Which is *horse shit.* But no one seems to be worrying about making open and *viable* alternatives.
