bhtooefr@Elizafox @dr1ft Myself, I want to see a renaissance of old-school web as document platform, not as application platform, with the features that make an application *possible* removed.
The trick is that we need protocols for all the kinds of shit we currently run on top of the web that are easy to implement clients for, and then actually implement those clients for all sorts of platforms. (How many platforms have native IRC clients, and how many IRC replacements have *ZERO* native clients?)
