      Goodnight friends, & happy new year as it rolls past us all! A greyer, heavier sky & colder air today—no certain morning or evening, just a gentle slow slide of one grey into another.

      I'm still on a self-imposed slowed down recovery schedule, even besides damp & low flat clouded-over skies doing what they do to my joints. Tentatively getting back into the sketchbook, just to let my hands wander.

      May we allow today to mean only what it means, & let each day be a new beginning when we need one!
