Prof Bit RotI sought out an alternate networking platform because the 'conventional' ones (1) erode civil liberties and (2) are not inclusive enough. I am a cis* white male. I somehow sometimes feel unwelcome here. Not really something I expected. I know other places are not inclusive, but honestly wonder why the fediverse has to marginalise people like me for traits we can't change when we are otherwise open minded and generally non-comformist?
