I had one of those Beyond Burgers at A&W a while back. It was good. A local (expensive) grocery box delievery company sells them ($7.99 for two patties, though, which is way too expensive, IMO). I decided to look up on Beyond Meat's website to see what local stores sell their products. It literally only lists the A&W restaurants (of which we have way more than I realized).

This is unfortunate, because I would totally buy these instead of ground beef when I want burgers at home if I could get them for a more reasonable price. I'd pay a premium, even, just not THAT much of a premium. I wouldn't stop eating meat -- probably, I never will completely stop -- but this is one really easy , albeit small, way I could reduce my consumption of meat and the associated carbon footprint.
Related: Imma try and get my family to do meatless Mondays.

Further related: I suppose I could buy those Yves veggie patties, but they're kinda gross. Most fake meat is gross and my meatless Monday's plans would generally not try to replicate meat-based meals.
But when I want a burger? Most veggie patties don't satisfy my tastes, but the Beyond Burger really does. Also: the Harvey's veggie patty that I'm still not convinced isn't just meat that they're passing off as vegetarian. It tastes EXACTLY the same, from what I remember
