   Anyone else really like the 90's windowing systems (Think CDE / Windows 95)?

   Modern environments such as GNOME or KDE seem to be moving in more of a "space age" or "modern" direction. Don't get me wrong I *adore* these DEs, but when I'm feeling nostalgiac I tend to think about these things...

      @MutoShack I get serious CDE nostalgia because of little things like you mention - I remember it as elegant and classy and still geektastic under the hood and I always will

         @djsundog Totally! And the fact that they open-sourced it in 2012 is just icing on the cake! It looks like a few people add bits of code every now and then, so I'm glad it's still getting some attention!
