Be careful of people who think/suggest/imply that "unity" means we must all be the same or all have the same priorities or use the same strategies.
That isn't unity, it's uniformity. Pushing uniformity can lead to some ghastly places. Insisting on uniformity often benefits machines over workers; systems over people; abled over disabled; privileged over oppressed; until being different is seen as somehow being defective or lesser.
That isn't unity, it's fascism.
