99% of bad articles are basically unrefined drafts. I had an editor once! He knocked all my bullshit back and made me think, for real.

Sites like Gawker and co, Daily Dot, etc may have editors, but they don't seem to do anything for the development of their writers.

They publish every absurd generalization, extreme notion, and failure to look deep that writers come up with. I don't want to say it's on purpose, but I do see a pattern.
