    javelina alert, @adam

When I was a kid on a farm ~100 miles SW of Austin, wild pigs would roam the pasture from time to time.
    Big.
    Mean.
    Tasty.

Massive wild hogs spotted roaming East Austin neighborhood
      from KEYE
A post making the rounds on social media app Nextdoor show a large wild hog looking for food in an East Austin neighborhood. The photo above was captured by Sean Bold at Springdale Road and Carla Drive, just north of 290. Bold says he spotted the hog, which he estimated at around 400 to 500 lbs. with large tusks, eating acorns in a neighbor's yard. Wild hogs have been spotted in an East Austin neighborhood. @adam now I live in Boulder County, Colorado... where packs of COYOTES (the bane of any farmer/rancher) roam the nearby creak... and are protected.

      They find local dogs tasty.
