Although I use my real name, in general I don't think its a good idea to enforce that. In some areas of the world using your "real" name in a programming forum can result in death and the imprisonment of your family. This is not an exaggeration.

Whether you use your real name or not should be the decision of the individual depending on circumstances. It shouldn't be something which an admin enforces.
