@tom That's too bad. USB-C is great -- I've been using my cables interchangeably over the years, across many different company's devices. I imagine as long as you buy from a legitimate source (i.e., not just some random seller on Amazon), it's fine. I've had great luck with Anker cables over the years.

The fact that I'll soon be able to charge an Android phone and the new iPad with the _same_ cable is amazing.
