seriously I don't understand how you can say that you're pro-federation and yet you keep a "flagship" instance with 300k+ users as the primary onboarding point, even though it is clearly a resource cost vs benefit deficit.

there's no "flagship" over here. instead we suggest people just install the software and host their own instance!
