Brian ÓWith this tank, I'm trying out all new techniques (Mattenfilter, "aqua soil" substrate, "dry start" plant growth). I just received my order of okho/dragon stone, so I decided to try another thing and set up an "iwagumi" aquascape. I'm pretty happy with it as ot is now, but since I cant start planting until I get a light for the tank I'll have a few days to stare at it and make any adjustments.
Since the Mattenfiler occupies an entire corner of the tank, I like how this layout draws the eye to the other side to minimize the intrusion.
