Unfortunately unable to get any of the music / library frontends to work with nextcloud music.
It supports Ampache (in some capacity), but all the clients seemed to have some issue connecting or just crashed when trying to play after loading the music.
Still on the lookout for some FOSS music streaming server!

It also seems that the development scene for most of the self-hosted streaming projects has been dead for 4-5 years, so even though there are some very interesting projects -- most are either dead in the water or forks of forks with single maintainers.
Looks like Spotify really crushed it.
