Glad you're trying; how's it going? When you've mastered the mouse-free navigation, turn the screen off and use only speech; LOL. If your Apple keyboard is like one of mine, the function, command, option, and control keys won't work as expected. I also found that the function keys do strange things when using the iMac keyboard on a Linux-running PC.

@davehunt It's kinda fun! And yes, I think that getting to that point (using speech only) would be very cool --- I've been looking into #Mycroft AI, a Linux speech assistant that's #opensource, and that'd further let me go speech-first.

Indeed regarding the function keys. I tried to clear my browser cache earlier and suddenly found myself looking at the command line version of my OS. Upon following instructions that I read off my phone to get back to the GUI mode --- again using the Apple keyboard function keys --- I got thoroughly confused and hard reset my laptop. *nervous laugh* This makes sense now.
