first it was Twitter, but now, even the fediverse is becoming shouting into the void.

i mentioned this trend a few months ago, but it's only worsened since then. my signal-to-noise ratio is getting steadily worse. and i'm still failing to make meaningful connections with people, old or new. maybe i'm following the wrong people. or maybe the medium is simply not up to the task for me.

i don't feel at home here, sorry. gonna take another break. maybe things will be different in a few weeks.
