M. Grégoire@keithzg I wouldn't say that it's unethical for SNC-Lavalin to seek a deal; but it would be highly unethical for the PM to interfere in any criminal prosecution. To me, it seems likely that the PM's staff did indeed try to pressure Minister Wilson-Raybould. Someone ought to be fired if so.
Not that I really think anything will happen. MPs do as they're told, PMs have learnt it is less risky to brazen through scandals than to demand resignations, the public will care only slightly.
