Some real geniuses on Reddit positing that the resulting nuclear winter from a "minor nuclear war" (find me a worse phrase) between Indian and Pakistan would save humanity from global warming, not seeming to realize that significant global cooling could also be a bad thing (shorter growing seasons, massive crop failures), at least in the short term.

@ink_slinger maybe we should detonate nuclear warheads just in the atmosphere to accomplish the same thing?
or maybe there are other negative side-effects to a nuclear winter that the great minds of reddit haven't thought of yet!
