So I have a Laserjet 1100 with a small plastic part inside disintegrating.

It's printed like 19,000 pages. The test page touts DOS & WfWG support. And yet the UX beats that of modern monstrosities hands down... but I digress.

Anyway I was wondering how screwed I am for replacement parts. Then I started wondering if a 3D printed PLA part would hold up, as a friend has a rig.

Assuming I can't just ebay a part, what a great use for 3D printing. Old Laserjets are worth their weight in gold.
