♲ @pamela@bsd.network: Some of those helpful one-liners are also potential gatekeeping things. When you're very new to the command line, you are often given things to paste in by the more experienced. But these can look like gibberish, so it's best to use words, also.

One person's telling you to type a weird thing filled with > and | and &&, and another person tells you not to try things from the internet, and it's actually a little hard to find this info (look for "shell commands") to start, so then what? 🤷
