Hund@kion Fairly quickly. But I had been using tiling for a few years before switching to i3.
Switching to a tiling window manager took me a few weeks to a month or so to get used to.
It only took a day or so before I felt that it was a brilliant concept. Letting go of the mouse took my muscle memory some time to get used to though. :)
