    Sad to hear that Google Calendar isn't the wondrous thing it once was. I haven't used it in years (because I closed my G account) but I definitely missed it when I had to deal with Outlook / Exchange's inferior calendar.

      @maiyannah True. Outlook does most things poorly. But it is tightly integrated with Exchange and $EMPLOYER has lots of Microsoft servers, so I'm stuck with it. My current solution is just to delete all calendar events when they come in (unless you explicitly reject a calendar invitation, it automatically adds itself to your calendar; it isn't wise for the agency head's assistant to see that you always reject their events).
