error starts with "-bash" -- is it having trouble accessing bash? It's weird, because it says command not found.

    Full error:
    su - perforce

    -bash: P4_localhost:1666_CHARSET=none: command not found

P4_localhost:1666_CHARSET=none is an environment variable...but I don't understand why it is being called as a command. !sysadin

      typo...now !sysadmin

also, I discovered the -bash is just what the errors look like. For example:

      ./p4 set
-bash: ./p4: No such file or directory
