      Congratulations @dansup , that's a really important feature for increasing #fediverse adoption. I wonder if #PeerTube has a feature for importing YT channels to PT servers? I'm certainly not aware of a Mastodon feature for importing from the birdsite (yet). #GDPR obliges the #DataFarms to make user data portable. I'd love to see every fediverse app working on a #FyreExyt for every user of datafarms with similar services.

         PeerTube has a YT import, it just isn't activated by all instance admins. @switchingsocial

            @rigelk that's great news! I look forward to seeing more people with web video channels on YT and other video #DataFarms setting up a backup on a PT instance that supports imports (ideally their own), or even leaving the video datafarms entirely.

            @strypey by the way, the import in #PeerTube supports over 500 siloted sites, since it relies on the wonderful youtube-dl
