    There are situations when each system has advantages when compared to the other. Likewise, disadvantages. It's a complicated issue.

    As a Canadian, it does seem weird and sad and needlessly cruel to me that so many people in the USA pay for healthcare like people in ancient Rome paid Crassus for firefighting.
