    If an article hasn't been written on systems that are technically FLOSS, but proprietary in spirit because they are deliberately hard to customise and poorly documented, it should be written by someone. Merely publishing source code doesn't make your software open. As I have pointed out before, there are contractors whose entire careers are founded on customising such monstrosities for corporate customers.
