      Preordering the Purism phome; you are brave! I didn't get to touch the laptop, but like the idea of hardware switches for cam, mic, and wifi thing. The phone will have those, too? I appreciate Purism having the phone's board available for looking and touching.

         @davehunt I backed off and got a librem 15 and a Samsung s3 to install replicant on. If I can live without my iPhone then I’ll look at backing a higher end replacement phone :-) one step at a time I guess. I’ll let you know how it goes. I got to touch and hold a librem 13 so I hope the 15 is just as good quality

            Which one was at the conference, with no case? Board felt pretty heavy, and that, without battery or screen. I guess I should try a Droid phone someday, but my first impression of using a touch screen was terrible and lasting. There's an Amazon Swindle in the house; I spent a couple weeks trying to teach me to use it with its accessibility; typing is impossible, and navigating is frustrating. I have a 'feature phone' that talks to me and has real buttons.
