Is there an easy way to turn off gvfsd-gphoto2? What does it do? It's taking up a ton of cpu and memory. -

yeah, but what does it do? I use XFCE. I guess I can just uninstall it and see what happens. -

I usually use KDE, so I can't be sure about any 'G' software, but I would expect this to be a way for Thunar or Nautilus to browse through your photos.

it's what allows my GoPro to automount it turns out...but why on earth does it take so much CPU and memory?
