This week in frog science: Mark Scherz and his team have discovered a new genus of incredibly tiny frogs.

I am not making this up: the genus is Mini, and the three species so far identified are Mini mum, Mini scule, and Mini ature.

Okay, people keep insisting this is a prank because his last name means "joke", but if it's a prank it's an incredibly deep one. Mark Scherz is an established herpetologist, and this specific work has been covered by National Geographic https://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/2019/03/smallest-frog-species-discovered-mini-mum/ and the Smithsonian https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/three-newly-discovered-frog-species-are-among-worlds-smallest-180971819/ .
