I always find it a bit cute when people ask if something available on the civilian market is actual CaDPat or a civilian reproduction.  It is ALWAYS a civilian reproduction.  The good ones have matched the digitial pattern, colours, and NIR properties well.  Department of National Defence does not license the CaDPat pattern except to a very, very few places with domestic manufacturing.   This isn't like the Fins where you fill out a web form and they make sure you arent a baddie and then you get high-resolution stuff right from the source.  DND is very protective and proprietary about the pattern.

There's a couple really good reproductions out there, though, that you're not really going to be able to distinguish from the real thing.
