Looks like the Greens will probably not be forming gov't in PEI, but will be the official opposition (a PC minority seems likely at this point). Not quite as historic as many were hoping for, but still a pretty big deal for Greens in Canada. They'll be the biggest Green caucus in the country and, in a minority situation, might be able to influence the agenda a bit (though not much, since the Liberals will hold the balance of power).

Some of the nerds in /r/CanadaPolitics are saying a Liberal/Green alliance isn't out of the question, but they also seem to not know much about PEI politics, which are apparently pretty unique given the small population and tight-knit community (in most other provinces, PEI's population would just be a medium-sized city). Basically, I don't know if they actually know what they're talking about.
