      @ink_slinger one that i've overheard in person is the "collectables" industry.

      heard some boomers talking about buying cheap coins from estate sales and stuff saying things like "kids these days have no idea what these are worth". I have a feeling the floor is going to fall out of their market and their hundred thousand dollar collection is going to be like the people who saved pogs and beanie babies.

        @thurloat "Kids have no idea what these are worth" can be translated as "these are worthless because kids won't buy them when I try to sell them to fund my retirement in a couple years."
