   Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting surveyed 211 of the largest Silicon Valley tech companies that were required to submit EEO-1 diversity reports to the federal government for 2016.

   Twitter's report is more or less what you would suspecte, but there are some other interesting insights.

      @h So according to Wikipedia 12.6% of the US population are African American.

      I Assume the coders are in the "professional" category, so Birdsite has approximately 2048 coders, 49 of which are African American. That's 2.4%. So that's quite a discrepancy.
      
      In terms of gender there are 591 female out of the 2048, which is 28.9%.
