@katnjia Everyone feels like that before their first party. Thing is everyone else there is very eager to talk about their projects and hear about others', and as halcy says, if you have *something* to show then you'll be fine. Oh, and being the odd one out is kind of hard when everyone is odd :]

I'd suggest finding a local party (via demoparty.net), join its IRC channel and hang out there for a bit. If you get to know at least one person they'll no doubt introduce you to a bunch more at the party
