How's this for organizing:
(1) Produce cartel-free media and host on cartel-free sites (e.g., peertube);
(2) Favor the use of cartel-free media and cartel-free sites; and
(3) Focus advocacy on stopping cartel-centric laws from interfering in non-cartel media / sites.

Simple, limited, and at least somewhat achievable. On the other hand, trying to overturn DMCA and other cartel-benefitting laws is going to be a decades-long process if it succeeds at all.
