    Ordered this fancy CIE 1931 XYZ colour sensor board from Farnell for my lighting project. It's based on the AS73211 colour sensor chip. This could also be used to calibrate the colours on a computer monitor. It can't be used to measure CRI (Colour Rendering Index) values for LCD lights, though. It can measure colour accurately, but it doesn't break down the light spectrum into individual wavelengths.
